Our Virtual Guestbook Line

The Leave A Message virtual guestbook line allows loved ones to leave voicemail messages before, during and after the event - even if they weren’t there!

How it works

  1. Book the Deluxe package, which includes the use of our virtual guestbook line.

  2. Seven days before your event, we’ll send you the phone number assigned to your virtual guestbook.

  3. Share this number with your friends and family, and invite them to leave you messages - it works exactly like leaving a voice mail.

  4. We’ll send you your recordings, along with those recorded on our vintage audio guestbooks, within 7 days of your event.

REMEMBER

Your virtual guestbook line will be live for seven days - we open the line 3 days before your event and keep it open for 3 days after the event, as well as the day of your event.

We advise using a personal greeting message for your virtual guestbook, introducing yourself and inviting callers to leave a message.

Calls are charged at basic rates, roughly R0.60 per minute depending on your carrier. Free minutes don’t apply.

TIps & tricks

  • Your personal greeting message should be short and clear, we’ve shared some ideas below.

    • “Hi there, you’ve reached [Amy] and [Ayanda’s] wedding line! Leave us a message after the beep!”

    • “Hey there, I can’t come to the phone right now but please leave me a birthday message after the tone!”

    • “Hello, we’re getting married in Cape Town and can’t take your call. Please leave us your well wishes after the beep!”
